Wonderful vision care and customer service

Our family has gone to Vail Vision Clinic for as long as they have been in the Vail Valley. They have always been excellent in care, vision correction, doctors and staff . I would highly recommend them to anyone. With two locations which ever is best they will help and fit you in. I has bad allergies this summer and they continued to see me sometimes daily till they cleared up my condition. I am very grateful tp them.

Pros: Always been happy

Cons: None

My glasses have never been right-although I requested that they not be so strong, I was ignored and I am unable to read although I have progressives. Customer staff is great-DR's and billing poor.

Pros: customer service great, ambience great, parking not bad.

Cons: billing depatrtment doesnt seem to know proper procedures or codes! wow, Doctors dont seem to listen well.

Beware of Dr. Paige at Vail Vision!

I also had a bad experience with Dennis Paige. I went in after getting NEW tri-focal glasses, $500 at 20/20 in GWS, asking to get only my annual contact lens prescription. He charged me for BOTH an eyeglass and contact lens prescription and suggested that I might want to buy the $50 reading glasses to amend my new contact lens prescription! When I questioned spending the extra $50 for the eyeglass prescription, I was told that only Dr. Paige could remove the fee and he was with another patient. I bought the reading glasses to go with my contact lens prescription however I have not needed these in the week that I have waited to see him again. However, the mid-range and distant-range on my new bi-focal contacts is appalling and I do not feel safe driving with this prescription! I was going to see him again tomorrow but after reading these reviews, I will call to see if another doctor in the office can see me. I am leaving this weekend for a trip to England and had hoped not to have to spend so much time on this facet of preparation. I feel that I am owed $100 from Vail Vision and a contact lens prescription that I CAN use! Stay tuned...
